This letter from Vannevar Bush of MIT to Joseph Desch of NCR was found in the documents in the Montgomery County Historical Society. Bush writes regarding the success of equipment designed and manufactured by the Electrical Research Laboratory, prior to their embarking on the U.S. Navy bombe project. That the time of the letter, Bush was Director of the National Defenese Research Committee.
This letter was recreated from a photostat in the collection of the NCR Archive at Dayton History. As of October 2005, the original has not been found.
